Kenneth Wayne Ray

Kenneth Wayne Ray, age 85 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away December 7, 2021 at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Haleyville, served in the Army National Guard, worked with his family at Ray Chevrolet as a service Manager, graduate of Auburn University.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Nathan Carroll officiating. Private Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Al Phillips, Barry Hill, Keith Hicks, Shane Cook, Doug Carpenter and Wade Carpenter.

Mr. Ray is survived by his son, Patrick Ray, his wife, Sue; daughter, Sharon Carpenter, her husband, Doug; grandchildren, Kevin Carpenter (honorary granddaughter, Caitlin Linder), Samantha Harrison, her husband, Colby; great grandsons, Chancyn Harrison and Bridger Harrison.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Hazel Ray; sister, Sherry Louise Ray; wife, Marilyn Ray; and son, Allen Ray.
