Kenneth Wayne Mills, 63, of Elkmont, Alabama passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Mr. Mills lived in the Elkmont community for half his life where he was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family and loved fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Wayne Mills and Frances Marie Baker Mills, one uncle, Roger Mills, as well as his grandparents, Lee and Annie Mills.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruby Mills, two sons, Tommy (Beth) Mills and Chris Mills, two daughters, Jennifer (Madison) Isbell and Jessica (Shane) Rencarge, two brothers, Tommy (Judy) Mills and Jerry (Vanessa) Mills, one sister, Susan (Brian) Bentley, one aunt, Viola Mills, two cousins, Jamie Mills and Kim (Donnie Mac) Maxwell, three sisters-in-law; Cindy, Glenda, and Nancy, ten grandchildren; Josh, Riley, Kaelyn, Zoe, Jonathan, Kadence, Josie Maigh, Matthew, William, and Elijah, one great grandchild, as well as host of nieces and nephews.
A Visitation for Mr. Mills will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. A Chapel Service will be held after visitation with service time beginning at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow at Gatlin Cemetery.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
