 Kenneth Wayne Gordon, born May 19, 1947, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026 at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Oxford, Mississippi.

Kenneth was raised in West Point, Mississippi. He proudly served his country for four years in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he continued his education and earned his undergraduate degree at Mississippi State University and his master’s degree in psychology from Delta State University. Kenneth went on to enjoy a successful career as a pharmaceutical representative with Novartis, where he worked for many years before retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanie Vaughan Gordon; his stepdaughter, Jennifer Brannon Barhorst, and her husband, Christopher Barhorst; his stepdaughter, Christie Fawzy; his stepson, John Brannon; his grandson, Saif Fawzy; his sister, Joy Abston; and his sister, Jean Munden, and her husband, Lex Munden.

Kenneth will be remembered for his service to his country, his accomplished career, his love of learning, and most importantly, the relationships he shared with his family and friends. His lively spirit and presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal service. Holland Funeral Directors – Tupelo Chapel is honored to serve the family.

Memorials in his honor may be made to the Tupelo-Lee Humane Society, P.O. 2143, Tupelo, MS 38803.
