A Celebration of Life Service for Kenneth Wayne “Cowboy” “Dog” Maddox, age 54 of Anniston, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in the Fireside Room at the Jacksonville Community Center. Rev. Danny McGinnis will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. prior to the service in the Fireside Room. The family requests casual attire, preferably something crimson or white.
Mr. Maddox passed away on February 29, 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Shana Maddox; daughter, Kayleigh Maddox; step son, Michael Harden (Alyssa); grandchild, Eli Harden; mother, Linda Maddox; brother, Scott Maddox (Reena); and uncles, Tim Chamblee and Stanley Birdette.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester and Evelyn Maddox and Hubert and Niva Vell Chamblee; father, Larry Wayne Maddox; and son, Joshua Maddox.
He retired from the City of Jacksonville after 32 years. Kenneth was a diehard Alabama football fan. Roll Tide!
