Kenneth "Sarge" Taylor Kenneth “Sarge” Ronald Taylor, age 66, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at his home in Lexington. He was born August 14, 1957 in Henderson County to the late Curtis and Marie Taylor. He was retired and enjoying life with his wife of what would have been 35 years on March 4th, four children, and nine grandchildren. He was a beloved husband, Daddy, Papa, and friend. To know him was to love him. He was a hard worker, honest person, and never let anything slow him down. He loved the outdoors, working outside, was the best weather man in West Tennessee (he kept us updated daily), could fix anything, had the most contagious laugh, could grow any plant, and he loved showing off all his organic vegetables he grew. More than anything he loved to make his grandbabies laugh. There are not enough words to express the kind of husband, father, and grandfather he was. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Taylor. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Taylor; one son, Kenneth Adam Taylor; three daughters, Ashley Taylor, Casey (Josh) Ball, and Alex (Joseph) Pinkston; nine grandchildren, Taylor and Lanie Ball, Arabella, Asher, Annie, and Allie Pinkston, Will and Anna Taylor, and Jack Bartholomew; two brothers Randy Taylor and Keith Taylor; and two sisters, Sheila Blankenship and Janie Tucker. His memory will be forever cherished and he will be deeply missed.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM, Saturday, February 17, 2024 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Independence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, 11 AM – 8 PM and on Saturday, 9 – 11 AM.
