Kenneth Russ Matthews, Jr., 81 of Tuscumbia, died Monday, November 4, 2013. A memorial service for Ken will held at a later date.
Ken was a long time resident of Tuscumbia where he graduated from Deshler High School in 1950 and continued his education at the University of Alabama where he graduated in 1958. Ken was a veteran serving in the United States Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Evelyn Matthews and sister, Gail McClure.
Surviving are his daughter, Melanie Tudor; son, Mark Matthews; sister, Phyllis Pickens and husband, Gardiner; four grandsons and two granddaughters.
