Dr. Kenneth Rodney Copeland, age 75, of Leighton, Alabama, passed away on Friday, November 23rd .Visitation will be Sunday, November 25th from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian of Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Randy Thompson officiating.
Dr. Copeland was a surgeon at Helen Keller Hospital for thirty-five years. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama with a M.D. and an Under-Graduate Degree in Math and Chemistry.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Judith W. Copeland; and his parents, Eric and Doris Copeland.
He is survived by sons, K.J. Copeland (Kim) of Atlanta, GA. and Brooks Copeland (Holly) of Atlanta, GA.; four grandchildren, Deacan, Kate, Cannon, and Reagan; and brother, George Copeland of Crystal City, VA.
