Mr. Kenneth Ray Taylor, age 75 of Hartselle, passed away on July 31, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Taylor was born on December 19, 1941 in Hartselle to Oscar and Maggie Lou Taylor.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; James Taylor and Jackie Taylor, two sisters; Barbara Bowen and Dorothy Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Taylor of Hartselle, two sons; Tim Taylor (Tammy) of Decatur and Roger Taylor (Christie) of Cartersville GA; three grandchildren, Blake Taylor, Mason Rudder, and Ellise Taylor, three brothers; Charles Taylor of Falkville, Howard Taylor and Joe Taylor of Decatur, two sisters; Elaine Brakeman of Hartselle and Sheila Brakeman of Decatur, several nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was a member of Cross Baptist Church in Falkville.
Funeral Services for Kenneth will be Wednesday, August 2nd at 1:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Glenn Smallwood officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm on Tuesday evening, August 1st at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Pallbearers are family and friends. His brothers will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pilot Club of Decatur for designation to the Project Lifesaver Program to benefit families with Alzheimer and Dementia patients.
