Funeral Services for Mr. Kenneth Olen Denson, age 65 of Lineville, will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Barfield Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Larry Cummings and Rev. John Howell officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. Denson passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Lineville Health and Rehab. He was born and raised in Clay County and a graduate of Lineville High School. He began his trucker driving career for Graben wood products in his early years, and also drove for Spurlin oil. He primarily worked at Wellborn Cabinets for 20 years as a heavy equipment operator. His last job was driving for Willingham Oil. Mr. Denson enjoyed spending his time on the farm. He had a close relationship with his nephew, Jacob Porter, and spent a lot of time teaching and training him, with intention to pass down the family farm to him one day. Mr. Denson also enjoyed reading and watching Westerns, and enjoyed catching up on the local gossip at the Co-op. Mr. Denson would give the shirt off of his back to anyone that needed it. His hands were capable of fixing anything, and enjoyed having endless hobbies. He enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren, and was a loving Husband, Father, and grandfather. Mr. Denson was a member of Barfield Baptist Church.

Mr. Denson is survived by his wife of 40 years, Malinda Denson of Lineville; two daughters: Krystal Burton (Zach) of Wetumpka, and Bethany Seals (Josh) of Lineville; five grandchildren: Braden, Andrew, MaKenna, Kynlee, and Lawson; one sister: Lisa Porter (Dan) of Lineville, plus other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents: William Olen and Betty Sue Foster Denson.

Active Pallbearers will be Bobby Crenshaw, David Mattox, Larry Upchurch, Steve Foster, Mike Crenshaw, and Russ Foster.

His visitation will take place on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. He will lie in state at Barfield Baptist Church for one hour on Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at 1:00 P.M.
