Kenneth Norman Hyatt, age 84 of Auburndale, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Highpoint Health Winchester. Kenneth was born on September 9, 1940, in Midland, Michigan. He was an entrepreneur of many businesses in excavating and construction. He previously owned and operated Tiki Village campground and Auburndale Speedway with his wife. Kenneth was an avid golfer and bowler. He enjoyed racing motorcycles in his younger years, attending car races, and working on antique cars. He attended the Church of God in Florida. During the summer, Kenneth and Charlotte would travel to Tennessee to spend time with friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell D. and Gladys Maude (Wismer) Hyatt; daughter, Colleen Armstong, and brother, Charles (Margaret) Hyatt. Kenneth is survived by his wife of sixty five years, Charlotte (Chevalier) Hyatt; children, Colette (Rex) Guy and Kendra (Erich) Hummel; son-in-law, Glen Armstrong; grandchildren, Brandon (Kendal) Fryhling, Jared Guy, Ashley (Chris) Gebhart, Jonathan (Alexandra) Guy, Nicolas Hummel (Samantha Spiers), Katlyn Hummel (Jared Griffin) Alexander Armstrong, Max Armstrong, and Katherine Armstrong; great-grandchildren, Connor Fryhling, Corbin Guy, Audrey and Beau Gebhart, Brody and Kilian Guy, and Kyle Hummel; siblings, Ann (Jerry) Smith, Russell (Margaret) Hyatt, Helen (Jim) Behnke, and Jim (Nancy) Hyatt; and several nieces and nephews.
