Kenneth Mayo Copeland, 85, of Town Creek, Ala., died Monday, March 4, 2013, at Shoals Hospital, Muscle Shoals, Ala. He was born on July 2, 1927. He was married to Gladys Joy Copeland and was the son of William Copeland and Ethel Owens Copeland.
He is survived by daughters, Wynell Berryman (Scotty), Hatton, Ala., Cathy Harville, Hatton, Ala., Karen Speegle (Ricky), Hatton, Ala.; grandchildren, Neise Buckelew, Chad Harville, Luke Harville, Jace Speegle, Lacey Speegle; great-grandchildren, Emily Shelton, Erin Shelton, Baylee Harville, Chloe Harville, Josie Harville, Harlee Harville, Canaan Speegle, Maddie Speegle.
Pallbearers will be Chad Harville, Luke Harville, Jace Speegle, Randy Harrison, Richard Copeland and Todd Berryman.
He was preceded in death by wife, Gladys Joy Copeland; parents, William and Ethel Owens Coepland; brother, Coy (Bob) Copeland; sisters, Lennie Jeffreys, Verna Jeffreys and Vera Jeffreys and Magdalene Berryman; son-in-law, Roger Harville.
He was a WWII veteran and a member of the Hatton Masonic Lodge. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Lawrence Funeral Home. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Lawrence Funeral Home, Moulton, Ala. The Rev. Bertis Ray is officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Garden.
