Kenneth (Ken) Wilson Kennedy, passed away on September 6, 2023, after a lengthy decline. Ken was born on August 3, 1945, to Frankie C. Kennedy and Robert W. Kennedy.
Ken was preceded in death by his Mom and Dad, brother, Phillip Kennedy; and brother-in-law, Pete Nickas.
Ken is survived by his two sisters, Wilma K. Williams Joe) and Roberta (Berta) K. Nickas; one brother, Jerry D. Kennedy; three nieces, Melissa Krueger, Stephanie Saladino, and Sarah Cox; three nephews, Mark Williams, Jeff Nickas, and Matthew Kennedy. He is also survived by two great nephews, one great niece, two great-great nephews and many cousins and friends.
Ken was another one of our dear, beloved brothers. Ken’s visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, from 12:30pm to 2:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2:00pm. Rev. William Bomar will be officiating, with the burial taking place at Taylor Cemetery in Hazel Green, AL.
