Kenneth Joe Harrison, Sr., 93, of Florence, passed away August 22, 2022. He was a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Navy (1950-1953); a retired electrician from Reynolds Metals, and after retirement he worked for Bevis Tables. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church, Florence, AL.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 1-3 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Chris Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Freida Ann Hanna Harrison; and parents, William and Maude Stone Harrison.
He is survived by his sons, Kenneth Harrison, Jr., and James Greg Harrison; daughter, Sherri Jan Harrison; grandchildren, Kenny Jr., Michel, Emily, Abby, and Riley; and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michel Roberson, Don McCullough, Tommy Harrison, Curtis Daniels, Steven Tucker, and Lynn Newton.
