Kenneth Jerome Hobbs, 81, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Hobbs lived in the Ardmore community for a majority of his life where he was a member of Murphy Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed working in his yard as well as woodworking and loved Alabama football.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard Hobbs and Kathleen Shannon Hobbs, his first wife, Annie Hobbs, his second wife, Norma Hobbs, as well as one brother, Billy Hobbs.
He is survived by one son, Bradley (Ruth) Hobbs, one daughter, Teresa (Eddie) Braun, one stepson, Stan (Wendy) Ransom, seven grandchildren: Wade, Kristy, Amber, Alyssa, Aaron, Ryan, and Heaven, as well as twelve great grandchildren.
There will be a Visitation held for Mr. Hobbs at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 12:00 noon – 2:00 PM. A Chapel Service is scheduled to follow visitation with service time beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery. Bro. Mike McFarlen will officiate the service.
