Funeral service for Kenneth George Guess, 88, of Baileyton will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, December 18th, 2016 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mt. Vernon Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Revs. Sam Johnson and Michael Lackey officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Guess passed away Friday, December 16th, at his residence. He was born December 7, 1928 to Derwin and Gladys Guess. He was a beloved father and grandfather. He was a member of Pan Creek Missionary Baptist Church at Baileyton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wilma Viola Kilgore Guess; sister, Lola Mae Davenport; three brothers, Bertis, Milton and Garles Guess.
Survivors include four sons, Randall (Rhonda) Guess, Danny Guess, Joe Guess and Chris Guess; seven daughters, Sheina Mooney, Pat Crumbley, Janice (Virgle) Otinger, Carolyn (Wayne) Ridgeway, Linda Smith, Debra Fowler, Teresa (Kenny) Whitlock; one sister, Nemridge (Walter) Brown; 33 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
Visitation was Saturday evening at the funeral home and will be from 10-2 on Sunday at the funeral home.
