Kenneth Edward Lentz, 81, died Friday, September 8, 2023 at his daughter’s home in Lena, Mississippi.

Born October 31, 1941, in Columbia, Tennessee, he was the son of Edna Benefield Lentz and the late Curtis Lentz. Mr. Lentz was a 1959 graduate of Columbia Central High School and served in the United States Navy and Army National Guard. He was a past member of Columbia Elks Lodge #686 and a member of Parkway Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, Edna Benefield Lentz, survivors include his daughter, Tammy Lawton; son, Kenny Lentz; sisters, Nancy Lentz Richardson and Christie A. Lentz; nephew, Chris Baker; grandsons, Christian Lawton, Holt Lipsomb, and Trey Lentz.
