Kenneth Edward ClarkKenneth Edward Clark, 85, of Rainsville, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at his home. He was born March 11, 1938 in Valley Head to the late Homer M. Clark and Mary Magdalene Haney Clark. He was an active member of Minvale Baptist Church, where he served in many areas including the bus driver for the Senior Ministry. As his boys were growing up, he led them and other young men in the Royal Ambassadors program.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 14th at Minvale Baptist Church with Rev. Steve O’Neal and Rev. John Keefe officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Head Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Minvale Baptist Church from 12 noon until the 2 p.m. hour of service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Minvale Baptist Church (205 19th Street NW, Fort Payne, AL 35967) or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s (michaeljfox.org). April is National Parkinson’s Awareness Month.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 67 years Jean Clark; children Ty Clark (Jen), Terrell “T.C.” Clark (Judy), and Teresa Lynne Crooks (Bill); sister Othell Everett; grandchildren Will Crooks, Justin Clark (Nicole), Megan Ellison (Cody), Brittany McClure (Daniel), Ben Stennett (Rachel), and Sam Stennett; great-grandson Jackson Crooks; and a host of nieces and nephews, some of whom will be singing for the funeral.

He was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Mary Clark and brothers Alvis M. and Pariel J. Clark.

Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
