Kenneth Earl King passed away Wednesday March 12 at Madison Manor in Huntsville. He was retired from Murray Ohio Manufacturing company. He was a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church in Huntsville, former member of Blue Water Missionary Baptist Church Loretto Tn where he served as deacon for many years.
Kenneth was an avid Braves Baseball Fan and loved his wife’s cooking. He was a fan of Country/Bluegrass Music and Southern Gospel. He would play the Guitar or Mandolin at family gatherings as members of the family would sing along. He loved baked sweet potatoes, ribs and pecan pie.
He loved his family dearly especially his wife of 69 years, Annie Adell King and his two Grandsons Ben And Sam King. He enjoyed watching them grow up and attending many baseball games when they were younger. Ben inherited his grandfathers love of cars and mechanic work, while Sam got his simple humor and his blue eyes.. He admired his step grandson Brandon Catron’s work as a Builder and Cabinet maker. His admiration for his step granddaughter Tiffany Neely for her loving and helpful spirit to others.
Kenneth was always reliable, respectful and loving to his family. He loved the Lord with all his heart and soul. After the death of his wife he longed to join her and his Savior on those streets of gold. They are reunited in their Heavenly Mansion.
He is survived by his son Terry (Sherry) King

Visitation will be Monday March 17 10:00am-12noon at Loretto Memorial Chapel
Funeral at 12 noon with Burial at Blue Water Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery
