Mr. Kenneth Davis, age 76, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford. He was born October 30, 1949 in McMinnville, TN to parents John Henry Davis and Mary Lou Davis. He retired from Nissan as a line laborer and was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist church in Lebanon, TN. Kenneth was a true man of God and practiced his faith daily. He found peace in going to church and studying his bible. He dedicated his life to God’s service. Kenneth enjoyed being outside in the Lord’s creation fishing and golfing. He had a warm personality and enjoyed visiting with his acquaintances. He loved giving meaningful hugs to his loved ones.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Gail Austin Davis, son Christopher Scott (Marsha) Davis, siblings Johnnie Jaco, Violet (Wade) Sparkman, Audie May Webb, Ovalyn (Stanley) Grissom, and Willine (William) Norris, and his little dog, who he treated like a child, Benjamin “Benji” Davis. Many, many nieces and nephews also survive. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mildred Nunley and Dorothy Grissom, brother Clarence Davis, and nephew Jeff Grissom.
Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Davis are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 28, 2026 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Rodney Duckett will officiate. Interment will follow at Brickhouse Cemetery at Rowland Station. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M.
