Kenneth Atchley of Guntersville, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023, at the age of 80.
After several months of declining health, Kenneth passed away while sleeping, with his daughter Peggy by his side. Kenneth was born in Arkansas on November 6th, 1942, to J.T. Atchley and Ellie Marsh Atchley.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Atchley, parents, J.T. And Ellie Atchley and brothers, Wade Atchley and Larry Atchley. He is survived by his daughter, Peggy Ledbetter (Glenn); brother, James T. Atchley (Elaine); sister, Carolyn Bearden; grandchildren, Jami Bellar (Buddy), Beverly Holcomb (Steven), Will Ledbetter (Taylor), and Ken Ledbetter; Great grandchildren, include Zane Holcomb, Eevy Bellar, Shayna Holcomb, Jonah Bellar, Silas Holcomb and Ella Ledbetter.
Visitation will be Friday, August 11th, 2023, beginning at 12:00 for family, friends of family at 1:00 with the service beginning at 2:00. Carr Funeral Home will be officiating the service. Burial will be at Marshall Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Gerald (Buddy) Bellar, Jonah Bellar, Steven Holcomb, Silas Holcomb, Will Ledbetter and Ken Ledbetter.
