Kenneth Allen Parrish, 69, of Florence, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 4, 2017. He was the owner of Parrish’s Friendly Service Station, Parrish Variety Store, Parrish Auction, and a retired auctioneer with 40 years of service.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Jerry Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mr. Parrish was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Parrish; and a granddaughter, Savannah Brooke Parrish.
He is survived by his sons, Gregory Allen Parrish (Mary Elizabeth), Mark Anthony Parrish; daughter, Beth Ann Kilpatrick (Johnny); grandchildren, Crystal Dawn Hines (David), Amanda LeAnn Parrish; Matthew Parrish (Ashley) Tyler, Heather, and Kyle Parrish; great-grandchildren, Hunter Allen and Madison Grace Hines, Kaylin Wayne Baskins, Mattie Nichole Parrish and Jaylen Grant Parrish; brothers, Freddy, Donald, Lonnie, Jerry, and Frank Parrish; and sisters, Sarah Ruth Parrish, Eller McMurtry, Louise Lamar, and Lorene Gandy.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Riggs, Gary Gifford, Teddy Howard, Adam Roberts, David Hines, and Robert Kelsoe
