Mr. Kenneth Alfred Crosson of Ardmore, Tennessee passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026.
Ken was born to McKinley and Nellie Crosson on June 29, 1939, in Roe, Arkansas. He enlisted in the United States Army at the age of eighteen, and retired after twenty years of service as an officer at the rank of CW3. He graduated from Athens State University with a Business Administration degree and was employed by Morton Thiokol as a Configuration Management Lead until his retirement in 2009. After retirement, he served on the Tennessee Council in Ardmore, TN for twenty-four years. He was President of the Veterans Association for twenty years and took great pride in implementing the Veterans Museum in Ardmore, TN.
Ken is survived by his devoted wife of forty-one years, Patricia Crosson as well as his daughters: Sheila Burnette of Huntsville; Carol White of Huntsville; Penny Mitchell (Joe) of Ardmore; Angela Stogner (Jason) of Huntsville and his son Alan Crosson of Ardmore. He greatly loved and was very proud of his ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his four sisters: Lucille Graves (Ohio), Mildred Cassidy (Ohio), Joyce Hayes (Missouri) and Annie Moorehead of Roe, Arkansas.
A visitation will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, AL on Saturday January 10, 2026, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 2pm followed by burial at Gatlin Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Ardmore Veterans Museum.
