Kenneth Alan McCormick, 59 of Toney, Alabama died on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at his home.
Born Thursday, July 11, 1957 in Huntsville, Alabama, he was the son of Thurman McCormick and the late Clara Stanley McCormick. He was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Community Independent Baptist Church. He enjoyed old cars and drag racing. He loved his kids and grandkids and was an avid Alabama Football fan. He was preceded in death by his mother: Clara Stanley McCormick.
Surviving are his wife: Nita McCormick of Toney, Alabama, sons, Jeremy (Heather) McCormick of Ardmore, AL and Tim (Deanna) McCormick of Ardmore, AL, brothers, Steve McCormick of Harvest, AL, Dale McCormick of Hazel Green, AL, Mike McCormick of Morgan City, AL and Joe McCormick of Huntsville, AL, sister, Donna Freeman of Huntsville, AL, and grandchildren: AJ, Brittney, Andrew, Bridgette, Coleton, and Caleb.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Spencer Hardiman officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
