Kenneth A. (Froggy) Jones, 75, Russellville, Alabama, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Jones was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church. He was retired from Herald Printing.
The funeral service will be Monday, September 30, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., at Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church, Russellville, with burial in East Franklin Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be Bro. Whalon Jones and Delmer Duboise. The family will receive friends at Pinkard Funeral Home on Sunday, September 29, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Survivors include wife, Chris Jones; children, Brent Jones and Scott Jones; daughter-in-law, Judy Jones; sister, Polly (Orbie) Harris; grandchildren, Kristy (Tim) Taylor, Trent Jones and fiancee, Jessica, Meagan (Steven) Wilson, Dusty Moore, Haley Mays; great-grandchildren, Blake, Nick, Eli, and Madison Taylor, Caidence, Carley and Cason Wilson, Kaylee and Dozer Moore, Patience, Derek and Amberlee Mays.
He was preceded in death by parents, James Aaron and Limmer Jones; son Stanley Wade Jones; granddaughter, Mandy Faith Jones; brothers, J. L. Jones and Vernon Jones.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Jones, Dennis Harris, Dwight Harris, Johnny Jones, Barry Jones, and Dusty Moore.
