Kelton Ray King of the Vann Town community passed away peacefully on Friday while at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 76 and had co-owned and operated King Brothers Construction with his brother, Phillip, for over 50 years. He was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Willie B & Hazel Williams King; his brother, Kenneth King.
Surviving family members include his brother, Willie G. King (Sherry); his brother, Phillip King (Michele); his sister, Charlotte HIllis (Garry); his sister, Glenice Edwards (Terry); his sister, Darlene Clardy (Johnny). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5pm until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Johnny Clardy officiating.
