Kelsie Arnette Clemons, 84 of Union Grove passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Marshall Medical Center North. Kelsie was born a coalminer’s daughter, November 24, 1937, in Keokee, Virginia to Wentz Arnette and Hazel Harris Arnette. She was married to John Larry Clemons who passed away September 28, 2003, living most of her life in Union Grove. She worked at Blue Bell for over 20 years and later worked with her husband on different job sites he was in charge of.
She is survived by her Children: Donna Collins (Jackie), Larry Clemons and Jim Clemons, Grandchildren: Janese Chase, Jarred Clemons (Lenisa), Julia Cate (Andrew), Alexis Anderson (Easton), Addison J. Collins; Great Grandchildren: Ziek Cate, Ayla Cate and Annie Clemons; Brothers: Roger Arnette and Wentz Arnette, Jr.
The family chose to honor her wishes by cremation with no formal service. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the Clemons family with cremation arrangements.
