Logo Icon With hearts that are heavy beyond words, we announce the tragic and untimely passing of Mrs. Kelly Cash, whose precious life was taken far too soon in a devastating automobile accident alongside her beloved husband, Eddie Cash, and her cherished grandson, Kyrie Cash.

A memorial service honoring Kelly’s life will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Flat Rock Baptist Church in Benton County, with visitation beginning at 12 Noon. A graveside service will follow at 2 PM in the church cemetery.

Born on March 29, 1983, in Memphis, Tennessee, Kelly was the daughter of James Alexander Thorne Jr. and Sandra Gladys Wilson Thorne. She received her education from Olive Branch High School, where she excelled academically, earning a place on the principal’s list semester after semester. It was there she met the love of her life, her high school sweetheart, Eddie Cash. From that moment on, the two became inseparable—where one was, the other was never far behind. For nearly twenty years, they built a life rooted in love, devotion, and shared purpose, even working side by side as a delivery team for Spark and Uber in Savannah, Tennessee.

Kelly was a woman whose life was marked by warmth, kindness, and an unwavering love for her Lord and Savior. She had a gentle spirit that drew people in and a heart that gave freely, always putting others before herself. Whether through a kind word, a helping hand, or simply her presence, Kelly made the world around her a brighter place.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved deeply and without condition, and the bond she shared with those closest to her will forever remain unbroken. Though her time here was far too short, the legacy she leaves behind is one of compassion, strength, and enduring love.

In the midst of such unimaginable grief, her son shared a small but meaningful comfort—that Kelly and Eddie “were doing better than they had in years,” a reflection of the peace, love, and dignity that surrounded them in their final moments together.

She leaves behind a large and devoted family who will forever cherish her memory: her loving mother, Sandy Wilson Thorne; her father, Jimmy Thorne Jr.; her brother, James A. Thorne III; her son, Ethan Cash and his wife Amber, along with their daughter Kenslie; and her daughter, Allie.

Kelly is also survived by her beloved nephews, Brendan, Camden, Jonas, and Kyan Thorne, her aunts and uncles, Gerry Wilson and wife Patti, Greg Wilson, Scott Wilson, Karla Grady and husband Scott, Sheila Thorne, and Vicky Bran and husband Ronny.

She shared a special and cherished bond with her cousins, especially Vennie Zorzoli (Bobbi) and her children, Devoni, Charleen, and Asher, along with many other dear cousins including Daniel, Greg Jr., Miranda, Nicole, Marcelina, Blake, Nick, Matthew, and numerous extended family members and friends.

Kelly was preceded in death by her cousins, Brent Fulcher and Brandon Fulcher; her grandparents, Kenneth and Ruth Wilson; her grandmother, Gladys Ivey; and her grandparents, James and Pronettie Thorne.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that this is not a final goodbye, but a “see you later.” The love Kelly gave so freely will continue to live on in each life she touched, and her memory will forever be a guiding light to those who knew and loved her.
