t is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Keith S. “Casey” Jones, Jr., age 54. Casey was born on June 9, 1968, in Huntsville, Alabama, and he passed from this life on July 4, 2022.
Casey graduated from Mount Pleasant High School, Wilmington, DE in 1986. He moved back to Huntsville and worked for the Pepsi Corporation before finding his niche in the automotive service industry. Casey was an avid Alabama football and Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Casey is survived by his wife, Stephanie Jones; mother, Linda Lucero; grandmother, Barbara Lucero; brothers, Kevin (Stacie) Jones and Hunter Jones; stepmom, Mary Sue Jones; stepbrother, Drew (Jess) Hendrix; uncles, Robert Lucero, David Lucero, and Jamie (Kathy) Jones; daughter, Lynn (Taylor) Warwick Zerbe; son, Jason Jones; grandchildren, Julius and Blessing Zerbe; and foster grandbabies, M & M; and numerous beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. Casey was preceded in death by his father, Keith S. Jones; grandparents, William Lucero, Casey Jones, and Elizabeth Jones; and uncle, Mark Jones.
A celebration of Casey’s life will be held Monday, July 11, 2022, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at The Cooper House, 405 Randolph Street, SE, Huntsville, AL.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to His Way Christ Centered Recovery Center, 582 Shield’s Road, Huntsville, AL 35811.
