Keith Lovelace, a dedicated businessman, passed away peacefully at his home in Humboldt, TN, on July 22, 2024. Born in Memphis, TN, on July 3, 1958, he was born to Billie Littlejohn and Jamie Lovelace.
Keith’s life was marked by hard work and determination. He embarked on a successful career path that saw him working at the CoOp for many years before venturing into entrepreneurship. He owned Lovelace Construction and Lovelace Lawncare, which he dutifully operated until his well-deserved retirement.
He was educated at Haywood High where he graduated with his high school diploma and was president of the F.F.A. Keith furthered his studies in Agriculture at Jackson State Community College. His dedication to learning and passion for his work shone through in all his endeavors.
Keith was a proud member of the National Guard for seven years. Also, he gained recognition for his exceptional landscaping and grass treatment skills. For many years, Keith went to West Jackson Baptist Church, serving in many committees including World Changers. He was a huge part of World Changers, where he helped build houses for low-income families.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Lorrie Lovelace; mother, Billie Campbell (James); daughter, Beth Lovelace; brother, Karl Lovelace (Leanne); bonus children, Adam Crowe, Jacob Crowe (Beth) and Sarah-Ashley Medling (Colin); grandchildren, Kaylee Lovelace, Joe Austin Crowe, Corbin Medling, Annaleigh Crowe, Charlie Crowe, Sloan Medling, Brooks Crowe, Molly Lou Crowe, and Ally Beth Crowe; nieces and nephews, Hayes Lovelace (Ava); Holden Lovelace (Corey); Elizabeth Lovelace (Kinnion), Ryan Lovelace, and Miranda Morris (Brian).
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vicky Lovelace; son, Justin Lovelace; father, Jamie Lovelace; and sister, Debbie Lovelace.
A funeral service to honor Keith will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2024, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends prior from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. A private family burial will follow.
Though we mourn Keith’s passing deeply, we find solace in knowing that his legacy lives on through the memories shared by those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace knowing that he made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
