Keely Raelin Cochran passed away on July 9, 2023. She was born on November 23, 1997 in Florence, Alabama at ECM after Auburn beat Alabama in the Iron Bowl [25 – 18].
She was a ball of light and love, wanting nothing but the best in the world for those she loves. She loved goofing off, constantly craving laughter and smiles. No matter the situation, she would do whatever was needed for her loved ones – even if it meant giving the shirt off her back.
She loved quality time, choosing to spend her afternoons listening to music and playing games with her friends. Though, her favorite pastime was eating with her family, always insisting on needing sushi from Rice Box as if it were her medicine. If truth be told, her favorite holidays were the ones involving a fat meal.
She was enthralled with the world of Pokemon, needing to “catch them all” with her Dad, the gym leader, and her Mom, the trainer; She’d spend hours at a time cultivating her digital world she could share with them, forever immortalizing their bond.
She also lived and breathed Five Nights at Freddy’s, constantly discussing her plans for the movie release while surrounded by her FNAF posters, POPS!, and plushies. She’d spend hours not only playing the FNAF games, but watching hundreds of videos explaining the theories, playthroughs, and easter eggs.
In memory of Keely, the family asks the world to attend the premiere on October 27, 2023 with a large popcorn and soda.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 12-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
