Kayla Elyse Arana, 32, joined the Lord on November 11th, 2022. She was born on January 31st, 1990 in Nashville, Tennessee. She attended and graduated from Sycamore High School in Pleasant View, Tennessee.
She devoted her life to others with a deep connection with her family. Kayla loved an adventure; she was bold and filled with courage and had plans of traveling throughout all of the United States in her custom RV, to not only explore but to share her art and support all those in need of a helping hand and open heart. She is truly a very unique soul. She adored being an aunt and is loved and sorely missed by all that had the privilege to know her.
She is preceded by Grandparents; James Cook, Anita Jenkins., Uncle: Frank Arana and Aunt: Melissa Cook.
She is survived by Mother, Hettie Garrett (Scott), Father, Rosendo Arana Jr. (Leticia), siblings; Sydney Morris, Rosendo M. Arana, Isabel Arana, Víctor Arana, Audrey Burleson, Bethany GamBrell and nephew Benjamin Morris, Grandparents Lupe Velasquez, Linda Cook and Rosendo Arana Sr., Aunts and Uncles; Richard Arana (Christine), Perry Moses (James), Jimmy Cook, Mary Baxter (Tim), Michelle Cook and Michael Cook: as well as relation Derric Jenkins and an abundance of loving family.
Services will be held on Monday, November 28th at Clarksville Highway Church of Christ from 10am-12pm. Followed by a burial at the family cemetery. Greg Smith will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in honor of Kayla.
