Kaye White Donahoe was born on August 29, 1943, in Decatur County, Tennessee, to the late Elvin Jake White and Maynard Thompson White.

She was united in marriage to Bob Donahoe on October 14, 1961, and together they shared nearly 65 years of marriage, building a lifetime of love, memories, and family.

Mrs. Donahoe retired from McNairy Regional Hospital after 37 years of dedicated service in the respiratory therapy department.

Kaye found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved being outdoors, tending to her flowers and shrubs, and spending time enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. She was well known for her delicious “Ms. Kaye’s Chocolate Pie” and her fried chicken, both of which were favorites among family and friends. Above all, she treasured her family and dearly loved her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

She was a faithful member of Michie First Baptist Church for more than 50 years, where she was part of a church family that held a special place in her heart.

Mrs. Donahoe departed this life on October 10, 2026, in Corinth, Mississippi, at the age of 83 years, 1 month, and 11 days. She is survived by her loving husband, Bob Donahoe of Michie, Tennessee; two sons, Mike Donahoe and wife Patsy of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, and Tim Donahoe and wife Stacy of Clarksville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Payden Donahoe and wife Emily, Chaseton Donahoe and wife Devin, Mikaylynn Burns, Matthew Donahoe and wife Anna, Graycen Donahoe, Haven Donahoe, and Aislynn Donahoe; one great-grandchild, Astrid Donahoe; one brother, James White and wife Earlene of Michie, Tennessee; two sisters, Peggy Allen and husband Leroy of Leesville, Louisiana, and Patsy Taylor and husband Tim of Arlington, Tennessee; one brother-law, Jerry Michie; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Donahoe was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry White; her sisters, Shelby Leatherwood and her husband, Charles, and Gale Michie.

Kaye will be lovingly remembered for her devotion to her husband and family, her faithful service to her church and community, her love of the outdoors, and the special meals and sweet treats she shared with those she loved. Her legacy of love, faith, and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her
