Kay Glispie Cantrell, 60 of Somerville, the West Point Community, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital. Kay was born February 7, 1962 in Blount County the daughter of James William Glispie and Wynell Sivley Glispie. She married Oran Cantrell, Jr. September 7, 1979.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years Oran Cantrell, Jr., Sons: Keith Cantrell, wife Tosha and Kevin Cantrell; grandchildren: Austin Cantrell and Keenan Osley-Cantrell; sisters: Linda Roberts (Terry) and Faye Hollaway (Tim); brothers: Milton Glispie, Michael Glispie and Dean Glispie; host of nieces, nephews other relative and many dear friends.
The family chose to honor her wishes by cremation with no formal service. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the Cantrell family with cremation arrangements.
