Kay Ellen Ristine, age 78, of Winchester, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at her residence. She was born on May 29, 1945, in Petoskey, Michigan. Throughout her 40-year career as an RN, Kay always put others first. She always put her heart and soul into being a nurse. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, painting, and making various crafts. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her children, Jason Houts, Benjamin Houts, and Kara Houts; grandson, Matthew Houts, first husband, William Houts, sister, Susie McFarland. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Larry Ristine; brother, Steve Lambertson (Julie), and niece Amy.
Per Kay’s wishes she will be cremated, and no services will be held.
