Funeral services for Mrs. Katie C. Canada, age 93, will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 in the White Hall Baptist Church with burial to follow in White Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 PM until service time.
Mrs. Canada, a retired employee of Brown Shoe and member of White Hall Baptist Church, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at NHC Healthcare in Milan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ruby Nelson; two brothers, Mib Nelson and Bobby Joe Nelson; and a sister, Mary Phelan.
Mrs. Canada is survived by her husband of 66 years, Johnny Canada; a daughter, Mona Chambers (Larry); a sister, Martha O’Conner; three grandchildren, Kristen Chambers, Lauren Hunt (David) and Hanlan Chambers; a great grandson, Harrison Hunt; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, White Hall Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
