Kathy Marie Thomas, 71, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Friday, February 18, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Kathy was a member of Unity Baptist Church. She was an animal lover and enjoyed walking and spending time outdoors. Kathy loved poetry and reading. She also enjoyed traveling and loved old homes and antiques. She is survived by her husband, Richard Thomas; two sons, Adam Thomas (Hannah) and Jamie Whitfield (Kim); two sisters, Gale Cain and Margie Williams; and five grandchildren, Shawn Whitfield, Baily Whitfield, Lindsey Whitfield, Grayson Whitfield, and Addeline Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Easter Parsons Wadkins. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Rodney Windham. Interment will follow in Snowdown Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 until 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka.
