Kathy Lynn Anderson, age 65, a beloved resident of Columbia, peacefully passed away and gained her angels wings on May 2, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center after a brief illness.
A funeral service to honor Kathy’s life will be held on Thursday, May 9th, at 1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Mike Dawson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until the start of the service. Heritage Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Kathy was born on January 25, 1959, in Franklin, Tennessee, to the late Arnold and Ada England. She was known for her unwavering work ethic and dedication, having served for 17 years in the dietary department at Grace Healthcare in Franklin. Kathy’s love extended to her cherished cat, Stormy, but above all, she was a devoted family woman, finding her greatest joy in her daughter, Katie Davis. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Kathy is survived by her loving daughter, Katie (Terence) Davis of Columbia, and her siblings: Charles (Sharon) England of Spring Hill, Carol (Mickey) Petty of Franklin, Martha (Mike) Westmoreland of Columbia, Linda Nelson of Columbia, Susie (Tim) McKennon of Hampshire, and Debbie Ratliff of Hohenwald. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry England and Ken England.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Kathy’s medical team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for their exceptional care during her time of need. They are also grateful for the continued support and prayers from friends and well-wishers.
