Kathy Harris Hester, age 67, Russellville, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Select Specialty in Brookwood Hospital of Birmingham.
Kathy was a member of Centerview Church of Christ in Russellville. She was a hair dresser for many years in her own business. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and will be missed by all who knew her.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. George Hutto officiating. Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens with Brad Botes speaking at the graveside.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 47 years; Billy Don Hester; children, Mark Hester (Felicia Tidwell), Mooch Hester (wife, Lisa), Lea Easley (husband, Cal); grandchildren, Ashley Hester Crosby (husband, Tony), Katie Hester, Will Hester, Amanda Fisher, Landon Pierce, Sara Thomas Easley, Turner Easley, Lila Easley; great-grandchild, Weston Fisher; brother, Terry Harris (wife, Allison); sisters-in-law, Nell Bradford, Beth Robinson (husband, J.D.); aunt, Betty Grimes; uncles, Carl Jackson, Jack Harris; special friend, Mary Ann Fulmer; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell Bryan Harris and Edna Louise Jackson Harris; brothers, Bryan Harris, Tom Harris; and great-grandchild, Jackson Fisher.
The pallbearers will be David Wilbanks, Brad Botes, Eddie Robinson, Jack Harris, Dwight Harris, and Mike Hargett. The honorary pallbearers will be deacons and members of Centerview Church of Christ.
The family would like to extend a special thanks Sara Hall and Kay Botes for the extra love and care shown towards our family.
