Kathy G. Raynor was born on October 22, 1955 in Ridgely, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Curly and Robbie McDonald Hayes.

Kathy enjoyed going to church and was a faithful member of Cedar Grove Pentecostal in Sardis, Tennessee, as well as First Pentecostal in Clifton, Tennessee. She was a highly talented seamstress and could sew anything. She also enjoyed working puzzles, reading, babysitting her grandchildren, and attending family get togethers and dinners.

Kathy G. Raynor departed this life on July 14, 2026 in Reagan, Tennessee, at the age of 70 years, 8 months, and 22 days.

She is survived by her sons, Brandon Nance and Wesley Nance (Madalyn); grandchildren, Delylah Nance, Lyvia Nance (Deondre), Hannah Nance, and Ethan Nance; great grandchildren, Carter Staten, Layla Staten, and Myles Staten; and a host of nieces, extended family, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Hayes; brother, Johnny Hayes; nephew, Jeremy Hunt; grandson, Jeremy Scott Nance; and niece, Robbie Cobb.
