Kathy Blackmon, 68, of Sayre passed away at a local hospital May 28, 2025. The family will receive friends Monday, June 2, 2025, at New Horizon Funeral Home from 6 until 8pm. There will not be a funeral service.
Kathy was born in West Sayre to the late Edwin and Elsie Lilly. She is also preceded in death by her husband Herman Blackmon.
She is survived by her daughter Allison Blackmon, grandson Michael Hudson, granddaughters Sara, Cydney and Kristen (Nick) along with three sisters Shirley Young, Gaye Goodwin, Linda Hambright, daughter in law Brandy Blackmon and a host of other family members.
She enjoyed watching her hummingbirds, listening to Christmas music and watching Christmas movies.
