Funeral service for Kathy Anders Gandy, 67, will be Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Harold Thompson and Bro. Chuck Worley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gandy passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Grandview Medical Center. She was born September 20, 1955, in Morgan County, to Perry DeWitt Anders and Mary Orthy Sandlin Anders. She was a homemaker for her family and a member of the Gandy’s Cove United Methodist Church. She had a gift of giving and service, loved to care for others, was active in her church and community but most active as being the family rock! She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed antiquing and gardening, loved her family heirlooms, was an excellent cook and had a passion for reading cookbooks and listening to Brenda Gantt. She also enjoyed communicating with a wide variety of friends on social media.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother: Kenneth Anders and a sister: Ann Anders Brown.
