Funeral for Kathryn Landers Bowling, 88, will be Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at Parkway Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Bill Becker and O. D. Bowling officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Bowling died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, at Mitchell-Hollingsworth. She was born Oct. 20, 1928, to Luther Landers and Ruby Kelly Landers. She was a member of New Antioch Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by husband of 77 years, Evan Bowling; son, Geary Bowling; father, Luther Landers; mother, Ruby Kelly Landers; and brother, Jimmy R. Landers.
Survivors include son, Roger (Carol) Bowling; daughter, Susan (Eric) Johnson; daughter-in-law, Faye Bowling; five grandchildren, Rodney (Starla) Bowling, Amanda (Don) Gallardo, Ashley (Katie) Bowling, Jason Bowling, and Josh (Courtney) Bowling; nine great-grandchildren, Conner Bowling, Kensley Bowling, Weston Bowling, Kyler Murks, Evan Ann Bowling, Ashlyn Evans, Alyssa Evans, Austin French, and Rhyder Gallardo; and nephew, Mike Landers.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Bowling, Jason Bowling, Ashley Bowling, Josh Bowling, Weston Bowling, and Don Gallardo.
The family would like to thank Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Home and Southern Care Hospice for the care they provided.
