Kathryn Ann Hale, 69, died Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, North, in Oxford, Mississippi. She was born in Shand’s Hospital in New Albany on August 12, 1952, the daughter of Walter Elmer and Mollie Elizabeth Piedlow. Kathryn was a Baptist and had worked many years as a factory employee and later as a truck driver. She enjoyed doing crafting.
Survivors include, her husband of fifty one years, Johnny Hale of Potts Camp; son, Mike Hale (Tammy) of Hernando; daughter, Kari Perkins (Aaron) of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Timothy Warner, Rebecca (Blake) Nevill, Alex (Kelsey) Nash, Logan (Callen) Nash, Chandler Nash, Jacob Hale, Jesse (Rebecca) Hale, and Aaron (Alexis) Perkins, Jr.; and six great-grandchildren, Lee (T. J.) Warner, Carter, Riley, and Mason Nevill, Liam Nash, and Silas Perkins; sister, Pat McDonald and step-siblings Sharon Kuehl, April Cochran, Ginny Hahn, Penny Roberts, Fran Harney, Danny Brewer, Jimmy Brewer, and Mike Piedlow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mollie and Bud Piedlow, and her natural father, James Bateman; her daughter, Lori McKee Hale; two sisters, Rosa Lee Bateman and Martha Jean Bateman; and a step-sister, Nancy Miller.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 A. M. at Glenfield Funeral Home with her son Reverend Mike Hale, officiating, with burial following in Enterprise Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Lewis, Timmy Warner, Jacob Hale, Jesse Hale, T. J. Warner, Joshua Frakes, Eddie White, and James Royce Grose. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening at Glenfield Funeral Home from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M.
