Funeral service for Kathleen Margaret Layton, 82, of Moulton will be Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Reverend David Bozeman officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation wll be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Layton, who died Monday, January 27, 2014, in Moulton, was born July 23, 1931, in Lawrence County to the late Bromer and Willie Taylor. She was retired from Food World. She was a member of East Lawrence Church of God. She was a great mother who loved gospel singing, yardwork, and she loved God.
Survivors include two sons, Troy Layton, Ricky Layton; one daughter, Myra Parker; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
