Kathleen Knight Otts, age 91, of Detroit, AL passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Guin, AL. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 2:00pm at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, where the body will lie in state from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. Burial to follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Jason Clifton to officiate. Visitation will be held at Otts Funeral Home on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Kathleen was born on June 27, 1928 in Lamar County, Alabama to the late B.M. Knight and the late Daisy Gilliland. She was a graduate of Sulligent High School. Kathleen retired from McCoy Manufacturing. She enjoyed traveling, talking on the phone, cooking, gardening, and going to church. Kathleen was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church where she also was on the Ladies Auxiliary.
