Mrs. Kathleen Green, age 91, of Quinton passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Burnwell Bible Church of God with burial at Brasfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until time of services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Green; companion, Clay Peterson; grandson, Pete Ellis; parents, John And Stella Sumner; and various brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Johnnie McBrearty; son, Roy Ellis Green; daughter-in-law, Karen Green; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Jannie May Chance (Charles); brother, Herman Ellis Sumner (Alice); and various nieces, nephews, cousins and those who are married to said family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart Foundation.
