Kathie Jean Pretty, 69, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 14, at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, beginning at 3:00 p.m., with Dr. Louis Hanks officiating.
Kathie was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Pretty; and parents, Morris and Lucille Hooper.
She is survived by her children, Jamie Hanks (Jonathan) and Daniel Pitts; stepson, Taylor Pretty (Katie); brother, Danny Hooper (Cindy); sisters, Barbara Keenum (Mike) and Joyce Cole; and grandchildren, Novie, Campbell, Todd, and Luke.
