She was born the daughter of the late William Loyal and Edith Imogene (Cowart) Tubb on Sunday, October 31, 1943, in Jackson, MS.
Kathie married the love of her life, Richard Dehn in 1964 and they completed their family with the addition of three daughters. In 1969, she, her husband and their three young daughters moved to Jackson. Kathie loved the Lord and was a member of the First Baptist Church and spent many years working at the First Baptist Church Child Development Center where she was able to touch the lives of countless children in Madison County.
Kathie was a very kind, gentle soul that made every situation more enjoyable with her fun-loving and positive attitude. She loved her family and especially cherished any opportunity to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She made every effort to be present for any event or activity that her grandchildren were involved in. The only thing that compared to the joy she felt from time spent with her children and grandchildren, was the time she shared with her faithful husband. She especially loved taking walks with Richard. They shared an untouchable bond and were graceful in their life’s journey together.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Dehn; her daughters, Tobey Wallace and husband, Mike, Wendy DePriest, and Kelley McCullar and husband, Mark; seven grandchildren, Matthew Wallace, William Wallace and wife, Shelby, David Wallace, Elizabeth Wallace, Chelsea Parker and husband, Josh, Hunter Clemmons and Logan Moore; three great-grandchildren, Jaxon Wallace, Rylan Wallace and Brody Parker; brother, William Larry Tubb as well as many other family-friends and neighbors who will mourn her passing.
The family will be having private services with William Larry Tubb officiating.
