It is with great sadness we announce the death of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, Kathi Lemons Griggs. Kathi passed away on February 4, 2025 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Kathi was preceded in death by her parents John Leck Lemons and Mary Elizabeth Lasater Lemons; her husband of 46 years, Jackie Lawayne Griggs; her sister, Martha (Mot) Beal; and her brother, Larry (Bubba) Lemons.
She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Vince) Adams and Jeremy (Leslie) Griggs; grandchildren, Crimson Chloe Chambers, Graylynn Golds Gilbreath, and Jaxson Tanner Griggs; great grandchild, Magnolia Mae Chaffin; brothers, Lynn Lemons, Dwight Lemons, and Steven Lemons and special friend, Tommy Mac.
Family, friends and guest will gather for a Memorial Service on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be 1:00 pm until the service begins at 2:00. Brother Michael King will officiate. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel entrusted with arrangements.
