Kathaleen “Kitty” Ellis, 83 of Crestview, Florida, formerly of Addison, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Kitty was born on January 26, 1937 in Addison. She was a sweet, precious and humble person. She loved yard sales, thrift stores, plants, flowers and decorating for holidays.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 12-2pm at Addison Church of God, where services will be at 2pm. Brother Tim Dubberly will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Kitty is survived by her sons, Allan (Mary) Ellis and Joe (Sherry) Cox; daughters, Kathy Jensen, Tammie (Keith) Bowling, and Kittie Midkiff; daughter-in-law, Tammy Ellis; brother, Frankie Brannon; sister, Christine Cooper; 14 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Melvin Ellis; parents, Clifford and Mamie Brannon and son, Troy Ellis.
